Hello, and welcome back to the Real Estate Investing Made Simple podcast. I’m your host, Bailey Kramer. And this is the mindset Monday edition, where instead of talking about real estate, I talk about a mindset principle that you can immediately apply to your life. Today I’m going to talk about the power of a mastermind. Napoleon Hill created the concept of a mastermind back in 1925. And he introduced it in his book Think And Grow Rich, which was written in 1937. So what is a mastermind? As noted in thinking Grow Rich mastermind is a friendly alliance with one or more persons Who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose? In a simple form, a mastermind is a group of people who come together to help one another reach their commonly shared goals. masterminds come in all different shapes and sizes, their masterminds virtually anything and everything out there. Whether you’re just starting out in real estate, or maybe you’re experienced, but you just want to grow your business. Or maybe you’re a business owner, and you want to join a mastermind focused on marketing. Or maybe you’re a doctor or lawyer, and you want to meet with other professionals in your industry. Whatever your case may be, there’s most likely a group out there that you can join. And if there’s not, you can always create one for real estate investing. We meet bi weekly or monthly to discuss our goals, our progress, and to assist each other with what we’re working on. As you know, consistency is key in everything you do. And the mastermind group is a great accountability piece. To make sure you’re sticking with the tasks you need to get done. masterminds are great place to network with people who have similar goals as yourself. Sometimes when we want to start a venture, we feel alone and helpless. By joining a mastermind group, there are plenty of people you can turn to. As I say your network is your net worth. continuous learning is key to anyone success. masterminds are great place to learn more and more by exchanging information other people and hearing what worked and didn’t work for them. Napoleon Hill says that you can accomplish in one year more than you could accomplish without it in a lifetime. If you depend entirely on your own efforts for success don’ts from people who have tried what it is you’re looking to do. When you want to implement something, chances are you’re not the first person to try. So it’s best to be able to learn from other people’s past successes and failures to help guide how you proceed. By networking and learning. You’re ultimately going to experience growth In your business, you’re going to be able to cut down a lot of basic mistakes by just hearing the repeated mistakes of others and knowing how to get around them. If you’re not in a mastermind group already, Google whatever it is you’re looking to do, and then add mastermind to the end. So if you’re a real estate investor or an aspiring real estate investor, just look up real estate mastermind. And if you want any suggestions on mastermind groups, feel free to reach out. I hope that no matter what profession you’re in, what goals you have, you look at joining a mastermind group and maybe even reading Napoleon Hill’s book thinking Grow Rich, or he introduces this concept.
